Roy Little sketchbooks, 1951-1954.

Roy Little graduated from Parsons School of Design in 1949 and went on to become a designer for renowned French couturier Jacques Fath. He returned to Parsons as an instructor in 1958 and remained in that position until 1979. The nine numbered sketchbooks held by the Kellen Design Archives represent Little's work for Fath.

Roy L. Little was born March 9, 1890. He received his B.S. (1912) from Iowa State College (University) in animal husbandry. While at Iowa State, Little was a member of the Alamo Club and a Cadet Captain. After college, he returned home to farm with his father near Cherokee in northwest Iowa. He died September 30, 1968.
